Hinton Rural Life Center
Cost: $130 — includes speaker and programming, supplies, and meals (6) prepared by Hinton’s executive chef
Hinton welcomes author, speaker, ordained minister, and passionate gardener Terry Hershey to lead a weekend conference and retreat for those who experience — or want to experience — gardens as restorative, inspiring, and life-giving. You’ll celebrate gardens, gardeners, and the role of gardens and gardening in our spiritual journey. Gardens are sacred places that can offer for both gardener and visitor healing for mind, body, and soul. Experience indoor and outdoor workshops, exploring and installing “sanctuary” gardens, and personal time for walks, prayer, rocking chairs, and reflection.
Accommodations for individuals and groups must be booked separately, with options including Lodge rooms, Hermitage cabins, Sells Cottage, McCall House, and Lakeside Retreat House, based on availability. For information on rates and availability and to make reservations, contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 828-389-8336.
