Youth Mental Health First Aid Virtual Training, Oct 1

Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches adults how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adolescents ages 12-18. You’ll build skills and the confidence you need to reach out and provide initial support to young people who are struggling. You’ll also learn how to help connect them to appropriate support.

WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE? School staff, bus drivers, camp staff and counselors, youth group leaders, Sunday school teachers, coaches, adults who work with youth, parents, grandparents, and guardians of young people.

• Learners will complete a 2-hour, self-paced online course prior to the virtual training and then participate in an instructor-led Zoom training on Saturday, Oct 1.
• For the Zoom training, you’ll need access to a computer and internet
