Swing for Hinton, Swing for Hope Dinner, Silent Auction

Join us for an evening of delicious food, music, and fellowship as we kick-off our Swing for Hinton, Swing for Hope Charity Golf Tournament with a special dinner and silent auction on Friday, August 18, at Hinton Rural Life Center. The dinner will be prepared by Hinton’s Chef Phillip Lallement. Both the dinner and silent auction are part of our annual Swing for Hinton, Swing for Hope fundraiser, which raises awareness of and financial support for the many ways Hinton serves the three-county area of Clay and Cherokee counties in NC and Towns County, GA, including Safe & Healthy Home assessments and repairs, firewood ministry, Christmas Care for children of Clay County, the Council for Collaborative Impact, and Leadership Chatuge Community Builders course for area residents. Hinton’s overarching goal is to help our community become a more thriving one for all of its citizens. The charity golf tournament also highlights the local businesses and services provided by our sponsors. Hinton is accepting donated items for the Friday night silent auction, such as gift certificates, art, services (spa, lawncare, catering, etc), timeshares, lodging, experiences (boating, rafting, horseback riding, etc), and more.  We are also accepting table sponsorships for the dinner of $500 per table, with signage and special recognition.
