Hinton YouthLead Academy — Rescheduled for Dec. 3-5, 2021
The Hinton YouthLead Academy is a leadership training event for United Methodist high school youth, hosted by Hinton Rural Life Center in Hayesville, NC. THIS YEAR'S EVENT WILL BE VIRTUAL. Explore spiritual gifts and "wiring" for ministry, plus practical workshops on writing and presenting, to equip young leaders to implement projects/ministries that help others. Staffers-in-Training Virtual Event
Join us for our third Staffers-in-Training (SIT) weekend – virtually! We’re looking for high school juniors/seniors and college freshmen/sophomores who are interested in serving others through missions or in leadership roles. Easter Sunrise Service
All are welcome to gather at Hinton's Lakeside Worship Center and celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Service starts promptly at 7am; allow time to walk from the main parking lot or drive to the worship area, where parking is limited. No shuttle service provided this year. Quality of Life Celebration
In December of 2016, Hinton Center had over 70 participants in a community event to improve the quality of life. Interested community members listened to the presentations and gathered around tables discussing topics including substance use, transportation, economic development, technology, children’s needs, housing, and education.
